Ridgeline Mountain Planners works across the full range of mountain planning: master plans and updates, commercial recreation management plans and tenure amendments, facility evaluations, and trail and recreation networks. The work spans destination resorts, community ski hills, backcountry lodges, and heli and cat operations, and draws on the same foundation in every case — detailed site and terrain analysis, capacity assessment, and a working knowledge of the provincial processes that plans move through.
Matt Bakker — Principal
Matt grew up skiing, biking, and running in the mountains of BC’s South Coast. He has spent his career planning for the places that make those experiences possible.
Before founding Ridgeline, Matt spent nine years as a resort planner and project manager at Brent Harley & Associates, working as part of the teams behind master plans and management strategies for community hills, regional destinations, and major resorts and operators, among them Big White, Lake Louise, and Mike Wiegele Heli-Skiing.
